About Therapy Evolved

Therapy Evolved is a Massachusetts-based psychotherapy practice providing thoughtful, evidence-informed mental health care via secure telehealth. We work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and periods of feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

Our clinicians have particular experience supporting individuals facing postpartum mental health challenges, as well as adults who are newly diagnosed with autism and seeking clarity, understanding, and practical support. We approach this work with care, respect, and an emphasis on collaboration.

While our practice is based in Massachusetts, some members of our team are also licensed to work with clients in additional states, as noted below. Across all of our services, we focus on creating a calm, grounded therapeutic space where clients feel understood and supported.

Cheryl Guerriero

I am licensed in Nevada and Massachusetts and see patients in both states. I have a small and growing staff of online psychotherapists looking forward to helping you meet your therapy goals. I work collaboratively with individuals to heal patterns that are creating difficulties in their current lives. My style is down to earth, relaxed, supportive and compassionate, but can be guided when needed or requested. Treatment is evidenced based and integrative. We will work together to challenge the thoughts and feelings that are preventing you from meeting your goals. I look forward to meeting you!

I graduated with my masters in social work from Aurora University. My clinical training was in a medical clinic providing wrap around case management and individual therapy services to patients.

I specialize in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges by blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Psychodynamic Therapy. My integrative approach supports clients in understanding the roots of their emotional patterns while building practical skills to manage stress, develop insight, and foster meaningful change.

Each patient brings a unique story into the therapeutic setting. Regardless of that story, I try to create a space that feels safe, empowering, and tailored to your individual needs.
